Tersus is a broad spectrum contact insecticide that effectively kills many plant damaging insects. Tersus does not contain Piperonyl Butoxide (PBO), so it is suitable for use as a pre-harvest spray on crops intended for export. Tersus offers a great option for specialty crop growers, especially for those with export produce. Pyrethrin, the active ingredient in Tersus, are one of a select few U.S. insecticides exempt from residue tolerance by EPA. Since Pyrethrins have established MRLs in many primary fruit- and vegetable-importing countries, Tersus provides a worry-free choice for insect control right before harvest. Tersus delivers rapid knockdown and kill on a wide variety of insects on over 200 crops and ornamentals.

Tersus contains the active ingredient of 5% Pyrethrins, which is extracted from flowers .

More than 100 insects are killed with this product including Ants, Aphids, Beetles, Caterpillars, Gnats, Flies, Leafhoppers, Mites Moths, Thrips and Whiteflies. This product also flushes insects and mites from hiding. Check out the label for a complete list of pests controlled.
