Rising Tide Systems Kykeon Efficiency
Rising Tide’s Kykeon has been independently tested and has proven to be the most energy efficient broad spectrum 1000W equivalent fixture in production, drawing only 610W. Our light can be run on both 110 and 240AC depending on the configuration of our client’s needs. The Kykeon’s efficiency is created by utilizing the highest quality Phillips LED [Top Bin] diodes with best-in-class drivers. This combination produces 1,234 μmoles/s [micromoles per second]. A micromole is the only measurable unit of energy a plant can absorb, they are the fuel that drives photosynthesis. Therefore, a light’s μmoles/s measurement is the only accurate measurement of a lights conversion of watts to consumable energy. The Kykeon produces the most micromoles of any full spectrum 600W light in the market today. The greater the micromoles the healthier the plant, healthy plants produce a higher quality flower and in our controlled test up to a 15% increase in yield.

However, recent studies have proven that a balanced full spectrum (one that closely mimics the sun) results in the healthiest plants and highest yields. The powerful broad spectrum of the Kykeon allows for a greater absorption of energy and supports a uniform development of strong, healthy plants, resulting in greater yields and higher quality chemical composition.
